Datum Picnic Bench
The Datum Picnic Bench is a custom-made timber bench tailored to your exact requirements. It is the perfect communal seating option for any outdoor environment – from mine site and corporate breakout spaces to modern hospitality alfresco settings.
Designed for versatility, it features an optional umbrella hole to suit your needs.
To ensure seamless delivery, these custom picnic benches arrive flat-packed and are engineered for quick, hassle-free assembly by two people.
Our Standard Sizes include:
- 6-Seater: 1800mm x 700mm or 1800mm x 800mm
- 8-Seater: 2100mm x 700mm or 2100mm x 800mm
- Top width: 700mm / 800mm
- Seat width: 280mm
Types of timber: Blackbutt, Spotted Gum, Jarrah (for outdoor use)
- Built from hefty hot-dipped galvanised steel tubing (2.5mm thick) and marine grade 316 stainless hardware
- Flat-packed and fast assemble – 5 simple parts and 12 bolts. (Requires two people to assemble
- Optional: umbrella hole
Materials available for the table top and seats include:
- Slatted Timber – Spotted Gum, Blackbutt Timber and darker Jarrah (for outdoor use). All timber materials selected are factory pre-oiled with three coats of UV Osmo oil (no extra coats needed)
- Custom Compact Laminate
Weather-proof options:
- Indoor – Sleek powder coat for undercover settings
- Outdoor – Hot-dipped galvanised steel for full-exposure and durability
